Welcome to Kidz Nation NetWork - Changing Lives Everyday - As We Challenge Kids Across the Nation to GET FIT!!

Thank you for visiting Kidz Nation, an information and support center for kids, families and schools to unite in a national effort to improve kids' health and create public awareness of the state of poor nutrition in America. We are here to provide an on-line resource for parents, schools and their children to learn how to improve eating lifestyles, build everyday exercise and healthy living habits while enjoying the benefits of living a healthier life.

For those of you who followed HealthRide 2009 or those who would like more information, updates and photos are posted. Check out LCDR Andy Baldwin, his dad and Football legend, Lynn Swann on their HealthRide across Pennsylvania [ http://healthride.org ]. The ride follows the PennDot S Bike Route from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. Stops were made at schools along the way, spreading the word while encouraging others to join the fight against childhood obesity.
The final stop........... on the steps of Rocky fame in Philadelphia.

NEW UpDate!! ReCap of Andy's 2009 HealthRide!!

Raising awareness for childhood obesity! We need to lead by example to make a difference. Dr. Baldwin decided he would ride his bike from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, stopping at elementary schools along the way and show the kids the importance of physical activity and eating healthy.
